| Text: | Well I feel slightly over-defended here. It is true that the Monday Moan has traditionally steered clear of this topic as I find it impossible drag any humour from the inadequacies of the Tumbleweed Club. But the Moan is open to all. Please not every week though. I have some important observations to make on the attractiveness of grids.
It was a shrewd move on the Times part though to remove their bulletin board where people could at least feel they had had their say. I know it too has been criticized but the Guardian site strikes me as a model of excellence compared to the Times. I don’t have the stamina to document all the issues, but I understand Peter Biddlecombe does, and has. All power to him. Just one tip. If you mail the Times tecchies, don’t do it twice before they have logged you properly. Otherwise you will get two ref nos, and the left hand is unfamiliar with the right, so you have to mail two of them to tell them what the other one said and you can get quite dizzy. |
